Exterior and Interior
Climbing up into this monster, you are pleasantly greeted with an extremely plush interior. The beautiful 2 tone black and beige leather seats greet you with heating, cooling, and memory functionality, allowing everyone to get comfortable. The dashboard is dominated by these 2 massive widescreen displays. The one on the right handles the intuitive infotainment system and insane burmeister sound system, which can be controlled with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the screen on the left showcases the gauge cluster with additional driver information. The boxy shape is instantly recognizable, having barely changed in over 40 years. The Matte Green paint adds to the utilitarian character of the SUV, while the 2 Tone 20-inch wheels contrast nicely. With additional accessories like a roof rack and silver front nudge bar, you get the impression that while it might be fast in a straight line, it is ready for an apocalypse whenever you need it.

Engine
Under that boxy square hood lies Mercedes’ M177 4.0L twin-turbo V8, an engine that will have people foaming at the mouth in today’s world of 4 cylinder hybrids and chinese EVs. Making nearly 600 hp, this big old thing can get up to 60 in around 4.5 seconds. That’s enough to put some sports cars in their place.
